Facultatif: Utilisation de systemd comme système d'initialisation
Le reste du manuel Gentoo se concentre sur OpenRC (le système d’initialisation traditionnel de Gentoo) comme système d'initialisation par défaut. Si systemd est souhaité, consulter l'article sur systemd. Il contient des instructions équivalentes aux instructions trouvées dans les sections suivantes de ce manuel.
