As of 633-r2, less should handle colorization out of the box now. See bug #188835, bug #910700, and commit 023b7de83186fbb6e97ea09ded7c6bfdadd4f1da in ::gentoo. You may be able to drop these instructions entirely, or clean them up a bit at least. Not sure, just an FYI. --Sam (talk) 00:27, 25 July 2023 (UTC)
