Hi. I used to run this combo before and one observation from when I switch from DDR2 was an increased heat load on the CPU. I switched to an AIO cooler and it stabilized a lot more. The old cooler I had prior would cause thermal shutdowns. A high end air cooler may also do the job but I have not tested. --Grknight (talk) 12:36, 4 July 2021 (UTC)
- I will try with another cooler, thank you! Currently I found my CPU works fine with DDR3 ECC (even in non-ECC mode). But when I use more than 1 non-ECC DDR3 stick, the motherboard boots only once after CMOS reset (as I know, because in this case it always uses only first DRAM module), but then after reboot, the motherboard just stops doing anything. --Vazhnov (talk) 14:57, 12 July 2021 (UTC)
