This discussion is still ongoing.
So, I originally intended this as a styleguide-compliant article about rolling your own kexec-bootloader for the main body of the wiki, but, as luck would have it, Gentoo minimal install images started shipping with EFI-booting support already included, just around the time I had completed the initial draft ><
Nevertheless, as the material is still, perhaps, of interest to someone, rather than consign this to /dev/null, I'm publishing inside my EFI Install Guide instead (following its more discursive style). --Sakaki (talk) 19:32, 30 September 2018 (UTC)
