The Lenovo Thinkpad T14 (gen 2) comes in both AMD and Intel flavors.

The AMD variant may include a Realtek 8852AE wireless chip that, although having an upstreamed driver, currently has poor Linux support.

Known issues

Microphone

Presently (kernel 5.16.x) the microphone does not work... probably something missing in the .config file.

Wireless

The commit that added support for Realtek 8852AE 802.11ax 2x2 chip via the rtw89 driver...

Custom patches may be necessary to achieve stability for the driver.
