about:me

As a new Gentoo user, I recently switched from Debian and have fallen immediately in love with Gentoo Linux.
I'm a bit of documentation fanatic and have a deep passion for Linux. Furthermore I love learning new technologies and have a tendency to really dive into them - sometimes even getting lost in the details of them,
while going down the rabbit holes that cross my way. (Ծ‸ Ծ)

I want to thank everyone, who is making Gentoo such a great distribution - be it admin, maintainer, developer, people working on documentation and translation, or otherwise contributing to Gentoo!
Thanks to you Gentoo is what it is - An absolutely amazing distribution that I enjoy spending my daily life on.
It's only thanks to your support that it's possible to expand the knowledge horizon with Gentoo for everyone!

To myself:

  • Want to change the world, but God won't give me the source code - no problem ... Gentoo does ;-)
  • Not a contribute-o-saurus, but always looking for ways to add real value and improve things where I can
  • Not a rocket scientist, but with a well-grounded knowledge - especially to know what I am capable of and what not, without fear to admit it (if not, I'll come back to the boss fight later to get the next level) ʘ‿ʘ
  • Okay, now seriously: Always open minded for any improvements / suggestions / input etc. just talk to me on IRC or on my talk page.

Public TODO

This is a public collection of things, that I want to contribute to our wiki in the near future. This should nobody stop from doing the same, especially since I can't say with any accuracy when I will get to it. Please note that the optional Linking section may contain links to external sites.

The TODO table is a way of letting the Community know "what is going on in my head" and what next steps to expect. Therefore, please feel free to comment in the comment section, if you have any suggestions, ideas or other feedback to the related points.

Please use per user the same column if possible, so the comments can be easily distinguished.
If unexpectedly all columns should be full, just create another column block for feedback or suggestions.
If it is a larger suggestion, it would make sense to leave here only a short comment and to explain the details on the talk page.
