When I checked against livecd of gentoo I got opposite result with sha256 checksum, see following:

Generic wiki page for ath10k devices?

I am not sure if maintaining a wiki page specifically for the QCA6174 is a good idea. I think a page "ath10k_wifi" or similar could be made for all ath10k driven chipsets (QCA6174(A), QCA9377, QCA9880, etc.) with differences listed in individual sections if necessary. Once we create the new Ath10k page, I'd press for making a redirect from this page to the specific subsection of the new page that ideas with the Atheros QCA6174.
