This discussion is still ongoing.
net-print/kyocera-1x2x-mfp-driver has the capability to do 32-bit already, but just needs the keyword added to do so. Users can override this in package.accept_keywords if they so choose. Manual install is messy and frowned upon when there are simpler and supported methods. --Grknight (talk) 18:04, 20 May 2021 (UTC)
