Feel free to review the changes, I think they are rather minimal, but the more eyeballs the better I guess. --PerlDownloader (talk) 11:39, 8 February 2024 (UTC)

re-mention link to GNOME Guide

Hi Wiki Team.

I constructively think GNOME/GDM part of the Wiki can be enhanced by way of adding a See Also section and a link to the GNOME Guide at GNOME/Guide. Here is an example of why: I was unable to login via GDM getting a 'Oh No Something Has Gone Wrong' failure message. After checking the Troubleshooting section here, I followed the troubleshooting section of the Guide, which instead helped me to solve the problem by adding the user to the video group. Although a link to the guide is mentioned in the parent page at GNOME it is itself not included in that page's See Also section and really deserves better visibility, with this wiki page being no exception. (relevant setup: gnome-3.34, opengl, nvidia)

Thank you for considering my suggestion. moo! Irced (talk) 23:40, 16 May 2020 (UTC)irced

You did much more work opening a discussion on adding such content than it would have taken adding it yourself. The suggestion has been added. In the future, please make such changes yourself. Others will correct something if they see it amiss. Thank you! --Maffblaster (talk) 23:18, 19 January 2022 (UTC)
