Hi. I follow the guide closely and I encountered two issues:

1. ebuild qemu-user is in portage no more and
2. chroot . /bin/busybox mdev -s yells 'chroot: failed to run command '/bin/busybox': No such file or directory Lah (talk) 02:51, 10 July 2014 (UTC)

1. Maybe try to emerge app-emulation/qemu with USE="static-user"?
2. same error here.

This page isn't really useful anymore and Embedded_Handbook/General/Compiling_with_qemu_user_chroot should be used instead.
