The https://github.com/gentoo/gentoo-portage-rsync-mirror repo now reads: DEPRECATED mirror of Gentoo git repository, use new URI instead: https://github.com/gentoo/gentoo
but https://github.com/gentoo/gentoo is missing most of the files in metadata https://github.com/gentoo/gentoo-portage-rsync-mirror/tree/master/metadata vs https://github.com/gentoo/gentoo/tree/master/metadata
What's the proper way to migrate to the new repo for users? --Poncho (talk) 08:54, 11 August 2015 (UTC)
- I've updated the description to list user syncing mirror as well. Michał Górny (talk) 09:03, 11 August 2015 (UTC)
- And they really don't belong there. The mirror is working on repos abstractedly, without special rules for Gentoo. In other words, we don't have what you're looking for. Though you may check the relevant repos out elsewhere and symlink the files/directories. Michał Górny (talk) 10:09, 11 August 2015 (UTC)
