This discussion is still ongoing.
This page currently seems to push users towards distcc over using the better method of using binary hosts. I think we should add a note that binary hosts are recommended as they are much faster and cause less issues whenever possible and clean up the binary host section and add a link to Binary_package_guide to show users how easy it is to setup.
