The Installing a DHCP client section is missing a step: after the emerge, the user must also:

root #rc-update add dhcpcd default

Median, you're doing good work. Appreciate your contributions! I'll fix this now. --Maffblaster (talk) 05:33, 20 September 2015 (UTC)
Wow, that was quick! Thanks! Median (talk) 05:43, 20 September 2015 (UTC)
Hmm, except I think you wrote "at it" where you meant "add it" :-) Median (talk) 05:45, 20 September 2015 (UTC)
Do not put dhcpcd into runlevel if you're going to use netifrc instead of Network_management_using_DHCPCD. --Charles17 (talk) 06:49, 20 September 2015 (UTC)
Ah, that is true. I'll add a snippet about not adding it to the runlevel if netifrc scripts are being used. netifrc is the default configuration for network in the Handbook, so we should maintain consistency with using them. --Maffblaster (talk) 07:01, 20 September 2015 (UTC)

Redundant word

Consider the following excerpt: "Depending on the filesystems used, it is necessary to install the necessary file system utilities [...]". This is an (un)necessary repetition... LOL. I would write instead: "Depending on the filesystems used, it is necessary to install the required file system utilities [...]"

Made the change. Thanks! --Maffblaster (talk) 17:27, 15 May 2017 (UTC)
