Manually adding translation tags

In your recent edit of Centralized authentication using OpenLDAP, the tags T:300 through T:302 were added manually.

Please do not do this as it breaks the tool which translations depends on. Thanks

Thank you for warning me. I suspected those tags were here for translations, but did not know how they were added. Is there an automated tool for that or should I do something to separate my changes from what is already translated?

Just add your text. The translator tool run by the administrators will do the tags as needed. The only time it is correct to touch them is when moving or deleting entire paragraphs that already contain them. They track the paragraph next to each tag and get confused when manually manipulated (besides deleting or moving). --Grknight (talk) 20:12, 14 June 2019 (UTC)
