Worth it to keep this page manually synced?

See the title. While this page looks good in a wiki, it seems to be lagging compared to https://gitweb.gentoo.org/data/api.git/tree/files/uid-gid.txt. Should the idea of manually syncing this page be forgotten, and just straight link to [1] where ever necessary?

Sure, you shouldn't manually update the page, but use the helper script for it. That's why the page has a “DO NOT EDIT” comment in the first line. --ulm (talk) 09:00, 28 February 2021 (UTC)

I still consider that "manually syncing it". There should be some infra cron job or other automation applying updates. It'd be perfect if it detected updates to uid-gix.txt and immediately synced this page. Some sort of... git hook perhaps? -- Juippis (talk) 09:07, 28 February 2021 (UTC)
