script GentooVM crashes my system
UPDATE: the script is just fine, the (likely) culprit was 4.7.7 kernel, as I was perfectly able to run the script and boot (and all) with 4.7.5 kernel kernel. I get crashes when I try to run the script GentooVM. I gave all the details at:
banning user... until system restart for ... kernel crash w/ Qemu

It surely could be something b0rked my system, esp. if other users can run that script just fine.

Headless server
I like the headless server option but the resulting terminal seems not very stable and after the reboot of the VM I build, Grub stopped just before the boot menu would show...probably because, I have to add the same console option to the VM. I'll work in this. Aisha, do you maybe have suggestions to make the terminal more usable? --Therijn (talk) 19:00, 07 June 2030 (UTC)
Display
The kernel configuration section should include the "virtio console" option. It's possible that a framebuffer and/or CONFIG_TTY should be set, if they are not done so already.
Additionally, it should be pointed out what the correct "VIDEO_CARDS" values might be; i.e. QXL, or virgl (with virtio-gpu).

Expansion Plan
DO we know what the plans are for this page? I've been making several variants of Gentoo VMs and this documnet is basically bare-boned variant for an head-less VM. I wish to go with the following new pages:
QEMU/Guest QEMU/Guest_Linux QEMU/Guest_Linux_headless QEMU/Guest_Linux_small_size QEMU/Guest_Linux_no_initramfs QEMU/Guest_Linux_device_passthru QEMU/Guest_Linux_video_QLX
