To Striber , I want to let you know that sys-kernel/gentoo-sources does not change the video code in any way. It is exactly the same as sys-kernel/vanilla-sources. IOMMU issues
To Author, thank you, very good wiki. On my T495s the iw ucode dosen't work (but is not needed) (europe version-Wireless-AC 9260 [8086:2526] (rev 29)). There is a problem reported to 'kfd' (kfd kfd: Error initializing iommuv2) - but /sys/kernel/iommu_groups/* shows IOMMU Group 1: 05:00.0 VGA compatible controller [0300]: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI] Picasso [1002:15d8] (rev d2) (rocm dosent work)(tryed kernel op amd_iommu=pt amd_iommu=fullflush)Alfcyber (talk) 21:07, 11 December 2019 (UTC)
