I'm unable to get this working, the verification code never works and I get kicked back to a password prompt. If I try running the tests for the module manually it fails with: pam_google_authenticator_unittest: tests/pam_google_authenticator_unittest.c:528: main: Assertion `num_prompts_shown == (0)' failed. — The preceding unsigned comment was added by Papercrane (talk • contribs)
- Have you made sure, the time is in sync on the machines and you are NOT connecting as root user? (I have not checked the results of the test on my machine, but these were the problems for me.) — The preceding unsigned comment was added by StefanLangenmaier (talk • contribs)
PAM module
as sys-auth/google-authenticator-1.04, the pam module have moved to /usr/lib/security/pam_google_authenticator.so , I think it's worth to mention about related pam conf editing. AndCycle (talk) 12:10, 8 September 2017 (UTC)
