- By default collectd generates the RRD files as root:root with a umask 0077. This makes it impossible for non-root to access these files. How should this be handled?
- Manually running "runserver.py" is not a good practice. An alternative way should be presented here — The preceding unsigned comment was added by SteveeJ (talk • contribs) 04:10, 3 December 2015 (UTC)
- In general, Gentoo users ought not be afraid of using root privileges. So just /bin/su - root and then chmod the file whose permissions you want to reset. --Davidbryant (talk) 19:35, 9 August 2020 (UTC)
