Concerning AMD GPU cards based on RDNA architechture, does the kernel (5.3+) provided amdgpu driver support hardware acceleration or is the PRO version needed for that? — The preceding unsigned comment was added by HansS (talk • contribs) 2021-01-07

All modern AMD GPUs (including RDNA cards) are fully supported by AMDGPU. AMDGPU-PRO is purely for enterprise purposes and has very little use outside of that. Closing. --Redstrate (talk) 22:09, 26 May 2022 (UTC)
