On mobile, I have to switch to the desktop site whenever I want to edit a page, view its history, view what links to it or access my profile. I contribute whenever I have free time, but I don't want to whip out my 19" laptop to edit when I'm in the doctor's waiting room or on the toilet.

I know there are already three different menus at the top on mobile, but maybe you could hide all toolbars behind one button?

Their sorting at Category:Open discussions is messed up.

The kinds of open discussions can be divided as follows:

1. Discussions that have not been looked at by anyone (useful for general users)
2. Discussions waiting for a response from the discussion author (we can ignore these)
3. Discussions waiting for someone with time (useful for general users; similar to the help wanted label on GitHub)
4. Solved discussions with proposals (mostly useful on protected pages)
5. Discussions that are easy fixes for newcomers or those with little time (experienced editors leave these to newcomers; similar to the good first issue label on GitHub)

I propose the following subcategories of Category:Open discussions:

1. Category:New discussions
2. Category:Discussions on hold (other suggestions welcome!)
3. Category:Discussions needing help
4. Category:Solved discussions
5. Category:Good first discussions

Discussions from the first category would generally be moved to a different one as soon as they're noticed.

The purpose of this is for editors to prioritize looking at new discussions, as well as ones that are easy to fix. It also gives new editors some easy work to do (Category:Good first discussions). Lastly, if implemented, open discussions will be more manageable considering Category:Open discussions is currently two and a half pages long.

This can probably be implemented with additional arguments to {{Talk}}. However, I would first like some approval before I go down the template rabbit hole.

The existing discussions can gradually be categorized. They can remain in Category:Open discussions and later be moved as editors come across them. Other suggestions are welcome as well.
