R overlay
R overlay is generated from CRAN and BIOC on a rsync server hosted by Gentoo infra. To use it, add the overlay via layman:
root #layman -a R_OverlayUnresolvable Dependency Logs
R packages do not enforce a machine readable format in the dependency fields. Arbitrary descriptions cause enormous headache to our ebuild generator.
The present list of failed packages shows the symptom. To solve it, we have created dependency rules. If you find a package is not covered by the rules, please submit a pull request to the roverlay git repository.
