Is the extensions git repo up to date?

This discussion is still ongoing.
extensions.git's latest tag is v1.35.4, which is missing most extensions, like Semantic MediaWiki and SyntaxHighlight. The commit just after it (in branch wikitest) updates CommentStreams to version 7.2, but Special:Version still shows 6.3. So where are all these missing extensions?
If we need to download them elsewhere, then that should be mentioned in Gentoo Wiki:About#Technical setup.
