You can find the binpackage profiles at {MIRROR_ROOT}/gentoo/releases/amd64/binpackages/17.1/, for example, to go to Rackspace's amd64 binhost profiles: https://mirror.rackspace.com/gentoo/releases/amd64/binpackages/17.1/
x86-64
The x86-64 binpackage set comes with: a full GNOME environment, a full KDE Plasma environment, and general desktop/server utilities like Docker and Apache
USE Flags
It collectively uses USE flags from the desktop/gnome, desktop/plasma, and the desktop profiles.
x86-64_hardened
The x86-64_hardened binpackage includes the binaries that come with stage3 also known as @system.
