I am a beginner who likes Gentoo.

BTRFS snapshots can mitigate power loss and system change recovery times. Working root systems can be kept at all times. OpenSUSE Support Database references directories to consider manually excluding from snapshot support if needed. One scheme is creating a /@ subvolume, snapshots on the same level (btrfs subvolume snapshot -r /mnt/btrfs/@ /mnt/btrfs/@240616) and having /etc/fstab option subvol=@. @ files are affected by rm and file operations but not snapshots.
