Fingerprint scanner

USB: 138a:0017 Validity Sensors, Inc. VFS 5011 fingerprint sensor

root #emerge --ask fprintd

IMO it is not good idea to login into computer with it, but yes… it works at least with Gnome.

BIOS Update

Download bootable CD image from Lenovo ThinkPad X260 BIOS/UEFI.

root #ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="~amd64" emerge -av1 geteltorito
user $geteltorito -o bios.bin r02uj72d.iso

Write bios.bin file to your USB stick.

root #dd if=bios.bin of=/dev/sdX bs=4M status=progress

Now boot, from prepared USB stick, follow instructions. Than boot into new BIOS, reset all options to defaults, and set them as you like again.
