Hey Astrum

Mind telling me why you reverted [my edit](Special:Diff/1055707)? That would be useful feedback

Edit: Nevermind, you mentioned it in your edit summary. I wrongfully thought plasma-workspace was not a dependency of plasma-desktop — The preceding unsigned comment was added by Waldo Lemmer (talkcontribs)

Undo marking page KDE translatable

Please don't undo edits that I made as marking new entries as translatable. After that we lost translations for entries that now need to re-translate from scratch. --Winterheart (talk) 11:50, 10 May 2023 (UTC)

It was news to me that you have taken on that task - in the past, users wrongfully made translation entries.
Anyway, it makes no sense at all to translate "Available Version" entries. They do not contain translatable text and are subject to *constant* change. — The preceding unsigned comment was added by ASturm (talkcontribs) 2023-05-10T13:54:40‎
I've made exclusions for these sections, so these updates will not trigger translation updates. --Winterheart (talk) 18:55, 10 May 2023 (UTC)
Can translations really be lost by removing the tags? If the tag removal is reverted, won't the translations remain? It's a genuine question that I don't know the answer to, but it would be the first thing I've seen on the wiki that can be "lost". I think I've seen Brian Evans (Grknight) add tags back in the past... -- Ris (talk) 12:07, 10 May 2023 (UTC)
I recovered translations from translation memory, so there no harm done. --Winterheart (talk) 18:55, 10 May 2023 (UTC)
