So i started installing Nvidia drivers for closed source.. it didn't work so i was recommended to use Optimus.. now i'm stuck with EDID and i got the recommendation to use Nvidia bumblebee+primus..

Why don't we have this in one article with all the info or something? Why do we have a wiki entry for nvidia Optimus when it's just the technology that require Bumblebee+Primus to work?

The spelling "nVidia" is IMHO quiet old. Wikipedia uses "Nvidia", nvidia.com uses "NVIDIA". Astaecker 15:41, 13 July 2012 (UTC)

Using DISPLAYTITLE:NVIDIA still leaves problems with other pages such as NVIDIA/Bumblebee and NVIDIA/Optimus. They are subpages of "NVIDIA" but "NVIDIA" doesn't exist. I propose that this page and its subpages be moved to "NVIDIA".--BT (talk) 07:20, 19 March 2019 (UTC)

I have moved the page and its subpages to "NVIDIA" and updated the redirects and most links. All that remains are the links in translated pages for NVidia and NVidia/nvidia-drivers.--BT (talk) 02:53, 21 March 2019 (UTC)

It seems the move didn't move the translated pages for NVidia/nvidia-drivers e.g. NVidia/nvidia-drivers/nl. I'm not sure if that was supposed to happen. I assumed all subpages would be moved as well. Can an admin please move them as I don't want to leave behind redirects if I move them.--BT (talk) 10:53, 21 March 2019 (UTC)

BT , did you get a title of "Move translatable page "NVidia/nvidia-drivers"" when doing the move (with a subpage option to check off)? If not, perhaps we need to reevaluate who gets move privileges to keep things sane. --Grknight (talk) 15:00, 22 March 2019 (UTC)

The move subpages option was selected, but I don't remember if there was an option for translated pages or if it was selected. In any case it's probably better to restrict moving translated pages to admins.--BT (talk) 00:22, 23 March 2019 (UTC)
