Under Detect devices, it is suggested that unprivileged users must be in the plugdev
group to run adb.
Shouldn't that be usb
instead?
On my system (udev + android-tools), after identifying my phone with lsusb, the appropriate device file under /dev/bus/usb/ turns out to be group-owned by usb
, and adding users to that group allows them to use adb properly.
On the other hand, plugdev
doesn't even exist in /etc/group.
Am I missing something here?
