It's my understanding that in its current state, silo is grossly outdated and has a number of unnecessary restrictions. I recently set up a new sparc host and am running grub2 with gpt. The instructions here were immensely helpful: https://github.com/esnowberg/grub2-sparc/wiki
Could instructions for using grub2 over silo be included in the sparc handbook? — The preceding unsigned comment was added by Matoro (talk • contribs)
- Looks like there's currently a GRUB section. Is that satisfactory?
