Even though this page is in the user namespace, corrections and additions are much appreciated! This is simply wiki policy, this page can be moved to the main wiki as soon as it achieves critical mass more.
Currently a place for me to store various musings and information that I've learned over time on MediaWiki's syntax, useful features, and other quirks.
Please feel free to add any information that might be difficult to find from MediaWiki or Wikipedia's docs, or any cool MediaWiki information in general that might not be as well-known.
Purging a page's cache
Sometimes updating a template or sourced page will not actually update pages referencing the template/page until MediaWiki refreshes its cache, this is very common in Handbook development.
To purge a page's cache and force the newest version of the page to render, use the following URL, replacing TITLE with the page's appropiate title:

Subpage listing
To list the subpages that a certain page has, use {{subpages}}.
MediaWiki recommends against using this template on the main namespace. (likely because it can potentially be computationally expensive)
